Hey there, Salty Squad! I’m Philip Salter, tournament organiser, community builder, and the driving force behind Salty Padel, bringing competitive and social padel events to the South West.

Since Spring 2025, I’ve organised tournaments ranging from intimate 24 player events to large 96 player mixed competitions, all designed to grow the game and strengthen the padel community across Devon and Cornwall.

Whether it’s scheduling matches, shaping formats, or making sure every player feels included, I’m committed to creating high quality events with smooth organisation and great energy.

When I’m not running tournaments, you’ll find me at City Padel Exeter, playing 4 to 5 times a week. I’m hooked on the sport’s perfect blend of strategy, speed, and social connection, which is exactly why so many players fall in love with padel so quickly.

I’m also a firm believer that good equipment matters. The LuxeTac grip by Padel Vibes has been my go to since the beginning: durable, ultra grippy, and now a favourite across the Salty Padel community.
